# Update Settings

> Configure Google Play Store Scraper settings

Configure your **Google Play Store Scraper** squid settings.

## Squid Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Default | Description |

| country | string | `us` | The Play Store country to read from. Changes price, currency and availability on app rows, and which reviews Google Play serves. Use `language` to pick the review language. |
| language | string | `en` | The language of the reviews you get, and of the app description. |
| sort | string | `helpfulness` | Order the reviews are collected in. One of: `helpfulness`, `newest`, `rating`. `helpfulness` is Google Play's Most Relevant ranking. Only applies when Collect Reviews is on; ignored while Newer than is set (which always collects newest first). |
| rating\_filter | string | `all` | Only collect reviews with this star rating. One of: `all`, `1`, `2`, `3`, `4`, `5`. Google Play applies the filter itself, so filtered-out reviews are never fetched. Only applies when Collect Reviews is on. |
| collect\_reviews | boolean | true | Collect each app's reviews as well as its listing, one row per review. A review row costs one credit, the same as an app row. Turn this off to collect app listings only. |
| fetch\_since | string | — | Only collect reviews posted after this point. Use a relative duration (`24h`, `7d`, `2w`) or an absolute date (`YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS`). Google Play publishes reviews about a day late, so a window shorter than a day usually returns none. App rows are always included. Only applies when Collect Reviews is on. |
| fetch\_since\_timezone | string | — | Timezone for interpreting an absolute `fetch_since` date (e.g. `Europe/Paris`). Ignored for relative values. |
| max\_results | integer | — | Maximum number of rows collected per input, app rows and review rows counted together. Leave empty to collect everything available. |
| max\_unique\_results\_per\_run | integer | — | Maximum number of unique rows retrieved across all inputs in the entire run. Leave empty for unlimited. |
